How to Apply
When to Apply
Ideally, you should apply before 1st July. Please be aware that course numbers are capped and some courses may be full before this date so applying earlier is advisable. Late applications should still be submitted in the same way, but the University reserves the right not to consider them for programmes that have sufficient applications.
PGCE
There is no recommended application date for PGCE programmes; however, once there are no vacancies left on a course it will be closed to new applications.
Post Graduate Diploma (PGDip) Nursing Courses
The courses cannot take new applications after the end of July (unless agreed by the programme lead). This allows for completion of the Recognition of Prior Learning Portfolio (submission for this is mid-October).
Before applying for either of the PGDip Nursing courses, you are strongly recommended to either attend a post-graduate open evening or a university open day to discuss your background and suitability to join the course. If you are unable to attend one of these events then please contact the relevant programme lead who can arrange a meeting (virtual or on-site).
